What does Yoga Plus do?
1) I teach  private and semi private yoga and some yoga classes during the day please go to my scheduling page to view. services are one hour in length in my studio, at your home or office and I also teach classes  at the Trinity Rehab Center in Concord, Ontatio and I also teach small workshops at the Vida Massage and Wellness center in Bradford, ontario. For more info please go to my what's new page.

2) The type of yoga that I teach is Sport hatha yoga consisting of yoga poses that I would hold for a length of time, sun salutations that are more of a flow and also a moon salutation. I also am certified in prenatal yoga which I teach private and semi private

3) The type of people that I would instruct are adults who can be very healthy to adults that might have some minor health complaints like mild back pain, carpal tunnel, frozen shoulder etc For healthy adults I would instruct differently than adults that might have some issues. For a healthy person I might not have to delete any poses in that session nor modify any of the poses

4) The results that my clients can expect is flexibility, toned muscles, healthy mind, better outlook on life, become stronger, better able to cope with issues etc.

5)I also provide Shiatsu massage in my studio, and at your home or office which is either 1/2 hour  or one hour in studio or 1 hour mobile

6) The type of person that would come for this type of treatment would be an adult person that is open to alternative health. The adults that I see are either male or female 30 and up who have issues like muscle pain, joint problems , shoulder, back or neck pain etc and I would use western methods like regular massage therapists would, but I would also use the eastern method of  applying pressure to  pressure points of the body either holding it for a length of time to provide energy or I would just hold the pressure point for a couple of seconds to releive some of the energy because sometimes a person might have a little bit too much energy.

7) Shiatsu can help with releiving muscle and joint pain, can help with stress, can help to provide more energy, can help with depression and more

8) I also provide Reflexology services in my studio or in a persons home or office again the service can be 1/2 or one hour in length in my studio or one hour in length mobile

9) The type of people that would ask for this service would be adults that are educated in alternative health and would know what this service can do for them and that it would probably take more than one treatment to help. They are people that have some health issues like circulation problems, headaches, muscle pain, joint pain etc

10) Reflexology can help with tired feet, circulation problems, depression, headaches and so much more. What you will get out of this treatment is a depletion of stress, release of toxins, you will feel much better etc

Yoga has been around for so many years and overtime we have come to modernize this form of exercise.   Being a yoga instructor I have over the years really found out what yoga can do for you. It has helped numerous of my clients manage their special conditions like Parkinson’s Fibromyalgia, lower back pain, Osteoporosis and so much more.

I believe that everyone should take up this wellness exercise because it really does keep the body very healthy.   Before I started yoga I hardly had any energy and now to my delight I do not tire easy.

Most of my clients have some form of a special condition but   really healthy people should not turn their heads away from yoga as they will find out in due time what the of great benefits yoga are:

1)             A Releaser of Stress

2)           A Releaser of Depression

3)           Will help to calm the mind

4)           Will help to strengthen, lengthen and tone the muscles

5)             Give more balance

6)           Give more flexibility

7)           An energy enhancer

It is such a wonderful wellness exercise that does not place strain on your body and one that you can practice for the rest of your life.
