2) Bring pillows, blankets, water and a light snack with you. You can bring your own mat, but we also can provide you with one
3) Please do not eat anything for about two hours before class as this could bring your energy downwards
4) Please do not wear any perfume or scented lotions to class
5) Please wear loose and comfortable clothing
6) Please bring bottled water to drink after the class ends, or you can purchase bottled water from us
7_ Please do not be late
8) This session is good for 6 weeks and must be prepaid as a new session will start after the old one finishes. These sessions are nonrefundable and non transferable. If you miss a class then I might allow you to make it up when a new session starts right after the one that had just finished.
On the whole yoga will help you to relax, relieve you of stress, provide energy and provide you with a place to go where you can meet other pregnant women and become more confident about the changes in your body. Keep in mind that yoga is not competitive and if you are experiencing any discomfort in any of the poses then you need to stop doing that pose, so that I can modify it for you if you are still experiencing discomfort then you should not do that pose at all. Our aim is to make you as comfortable as possible in all the yoga classes by only doing gentle asanas so that you would have a great birth at the end.
Here is a brief outline of the session
1) a meditation at the very beginning, then we start off with a warm up for the body to get us prepared for the yoga asnans. after that we do a sitting down breathing technique then followed by Yoga Nidra which is relaxing and tightening different parts of the body, then a meditation to the sun which helps to relax our body and mind even further then the last part would be a quiet relaxation period.
All sessions are one hour in length. At the end after the yoga Asanas and the breathing technique the relaxtion period will take up to 20 minutes
